These little donuts were baked and are full of pumpkin goodness. Pumpkin pie in donut form! Give these tasty treats a try. They are sure to brighten up your morning.
Ingredients
- 1 cup canned or fresh pureed pumpkin
- 2/3 cup agave
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 flax egg (1 tablespoon flax meal + 3 tablespoons water, mix)
- 1 2/3 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 6 ground cloves
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Method
- Preheat oven to 350F
- Combine dry ingredients and then mix in the wet
- Pour into a donut pan
- Bake for about 20 minutes or until a tooth pick comes out clean
