The above dish is from Seward CafĂ©. It’s their Seward Torta. My friends have raved about it, but I hadn’t had it until this last week. I usually get the radical roots stir-fry. I decided to try the sandwich this week. It is as good as they say. I’m not sure if it was good enough to bump the stir-fry out of my favorite slot. It did hit the spot in a delicious way.
Sweet Potato and Carrot Stew
This stew has a lot of flavor. The combination of the roasted veggies and the spices is very satisfying. It is great alone or with some bread. Make this soup today to keep yourself warm during this cold winter.
Last Week in Tastiness
There was a lot of amazing food this past week which made writing this post the hardest so far in this series. I’ll start the week off in reverse for a change of pace. With Valentine’s day this past week, I made heart shaped bread bowls, croutons, and biscuits. They were well received with the soup I made. I hope to post the soup recipe soon.
Last Week in Tastiness
We tried a new pizza place last week: Pizza Nea. They are located in NE Minneapolis and very active on twitter. We ordered the marinara with garlic and red sauce. Then we added some roasted red and yellow peppers and some arugula. It came out very fast and was delicious. Sadly, they didn’t have a vegan dessert, so we went down the street for some muffins.
Last Week In Tastiness
This last week was a filled with lots of tasty simple foods many I didn’t take a picture of. These are some of my favorites.
