Lunch at Cat-Man-Do Restaurant
My wife and I enjoy Cat-Man-Do Restaurant and their tasty Nepali food. It is one of our favorites; the food is good and the owners are very friendly. They are one of the reasons we keep going back.
We love their tea too. My wife liked their Chiya which is a Nepali chai (black tea with milk and spices). I like the Kalo Chiya which is the same, but without milk.
We have our favorite dishes which we order almost every time we go. So often, they remember it when we walk in the door.
My wife gets the Tofu Chow Chow which is made with pan fried wheat noodles sautéed with tofu and vegetables: broccoli, carrots, onion, mushrooms, and peppers.
My favorite is the Garbanzo Curry which is made with garbanzo beans, onion, potatoes, tomatoes, and spices.
If you are in St. Paul, Minnesota, check them out!
UPDATE: This restaurant sadly closed March 2013.
