Dinner At Verdant Tea
Last night, I had the pleasure of dinning with Laura from One Girl, Two Cities for restaurant week at Verdant Tea . They offered a three course meal for $15 with vegan, veg, and gluten free options.
For the first course, I had yunnan rice stick salad. It was a small bowl filled with shredded radishes, beats, turnips, cilanro, peppers, and sunflower microgreens covered in a vinegaerette.
For the second course, I had the kitchen stir fry vegan with tofu and seasonal vegetables sautéed with ginger and garlic on a bed of rice. It was garnished with more microgreens. I really liked this dish. The flavor was great and the microgreens really made it pop.
The server said they didn't have a vegan dessert in stock. A shame because I was secretly looking forward to the vegan dark chocolate sorbet from Sweet Science Ice Cream. He offered me a mocktail instead, so I chose the kombucha mimosa, a mix of Lychee Prohibition Kombucha, orange juice, and Paychaud’s bitters. It was excellent! I will be getting that again.
Overall, the meal was great. I enjoy meeting other bloggers. We both enjoyed our food and drinks, and there was interesting conversation as well. You can checkout Laura's post on her site .

It looks delicious. Bummer they didn't have a vegan dessert, but at least you got a great drink instead.
